eLitmus Syllabus 2019 for Freshers Written Aptitude Exam (pH Test)
eLitmus Syllabus 2019: eLitmus Test helps freshers in getting entry-level jobs in MNC IT companies. A pH (Hiring Potential) aptitude test is conducted by eLitmus and score is awarded to the candidates based on their performance. The eLitmuss score/ percentile helps candidates in getting interview calls from top IT companies. Candidates should get a good score for getting interview calls. Even If you score low percentile, you can still get the interview calls, but the number of interview calls is low.
eLitmus Syllabus 2019 – Freshers pH Test DetailsThe eLitmus test measures a broad range of skills from your academics. It does not test your proficiency in any specific areas or subjects. It presumes the only familiarity with high school level mathematics and some proficiency in essential English language skills. The eLitmus score is valid for up to 2 years. If you are preparing for eLitmus Test, then you have to know the eLitmus Exam Pattern and the syllabus now. Only answer those questions you are 100% sure about. Even if you solve 30 out of 60 questions with 80% accuracy, you will get above 90 percent.
Total questions asked in eLitmus Test are 60 which are divided into 3 sections.
Quantitative Aptitude (20 Questions),
Logical Reasoning (20 Questions) and
Verbal Reasoning (20 Questions)
Total Time: 2 hours
The maximum marks are 600
Negative Marking: Negative marking only applied if you answer more than 1/4th of total questions incorrect.

Passages/ Reading Comprehension – 16 Questions
Jumble Paragraphs – 2 Questions
Sentence Corrections – 1 to 2 Questions
Fill in the blanks – 1 to 2 questions
Logical Reasoning Section: The difficulty level is medium to high.
The main topics and syllabus covered in Verbal reasoning are as follows.
Data Interpretation(DI) – 5 Questions
Logical Reasoning(LR) – 8 Questions
Cryptic Arthematic Questions – 3 Questions
Data Sufficiency – 4 questions
The difficulty level is medium to high. Try to answer 6 to 10 questions correct from this section to score a good percentile.

Let us assume Gopi has 80th percentile in one of the sections. It means 80% of pH Test takers have scored less than him and 20% of pH Test takers have scored more than him in that section. Typically one’s scores are compared with approximately 1,20,000 pH test takers. So 20% of candidates that is 24,000 in all are above Gopi.
